Bay Shore Church's 90th Annual Congregational Meeting
The Annual Meeting of our congregation will be this Sunday, June 7 after worship, at 10:45am. This is an especially important year since it will be our 90th Annual Meeting. Our church started in 1924 with four donated lots at our present location. On April 1, 1925 we had 45 members and officially became a church. Membership as of January 1, 2014 is 406. During this meeting we will receive the annual reports of our commissions and leadership. The congregation will be presented the slate of officers and commission members by the nominating committee. After the slate of officers and commission members is presented, the church members will have an opportunity to vote. If you are a member of Bay Shore Church we encourage you to participate. If you are new, this will give you the opportunity to experience our congregational system of church government. Childcare will be available during the meeting for all ages of children in the nursery with Felicity Miller.

Summer Sunday School
Summer Sunday School begins on June 14 and we need teachers! Curriculum packets and a sign up sheet are available in the Concert Hall. Help give our program year teachers a well-deserved summer break. We need two teachers per week, so recruit a friend to help you or just sign up on your own for a week and get to know some new folks. The only requirements are a desire to serve our kids and the willingness to have a half hour of learning fun. Have questions? Please contact Rev. Susie or one of our Summer Sunday School Superintendents, Katy Collins (firstname.lastname@example.org) and Cynthia Ingram (email@example.com). The Christian Education Commission is also in the process of updating our substitute teacher list and we are in need of new subs. If you indicated your willingness to serve in this way in the opportunities survey, we’ll add you to the list. A sub sign up sheet is also available in the Concert Hall. Thank you for supporting our young people!
